This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conduct calculations for piping and pipe support design.
• Implement process modifications in collaboration with various departments of the client, as necessary.
• Draft notes on piping flexibility and support calculations.
• Review and oversee calculation notes.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of tools.
• Ensure effective technical management of the project and oversee client interactions.
• Provide support to EDF Group on its diverse projects.
• Work alongside the General Installation and Design Drafting teams.
• A Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline from an engineering school.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical calculations, including static and vibration analysis.
• Expertise in CAESAR II, Pipestress, or ROHR2.
• Proficient in English to engage with professionals globally.
• Familiarity with nuclear standards relevant to piping flexibility.
• Capability to work autonomously with a strong sense of teamwork.
• Attention to detail and flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances.
