Experienced Headless CMS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Configure and enhance the headless CMS in collaboration with the client's content and taxonomy leads.

• Provide bilingual content frameworks, editorial tools, and content APIs.

• Assist with media integrations and content migration processes.

• Educate and train content editors.

• Work closely with the client's internal product, business project management, UX/design, and English/French content teams.

• Oversee technical delivery and handoff procedures.

• Offer specialized support as required.

• Create comprehensive documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in producing work with a modern headless CMS and its customization tools.

• Familiarity with structured content, taxonomy, metadata, and English/French content relationships.

• Background in managing editorial permissions, preview, approval workflows, and publishing controls.

• Proficient with content APIs, media integration, validation, automated testing, and editor documentation.

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.

• Must be available to commence work within a month.

• Candidates should be located in Canada; contractors in Canada or the USA are preferred.

• Availability during standard EST business hours is required.

• Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.

• Proficiency in spoken and written French is a significant advantage.

• Relevant experience in delivery, collaboration, and clear documentation is essential.

• Experience in nonprofit or education sectors is a plus.
