This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Take charge of top-of-funnel pipeline generation for Japan.

• Qualify interest from inbound inquiries and events.

• Create tailored outbound sequences through email, LinkedIn, phone, events, and referrals.

• Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and leadership.

• Identify and research strategic accounts within Japan.

• Map out buying committees across business, data, engineering, AI, ecommerce, and innovation teams.

• Recognize triggers such as AI initiatives, data transformation, ecommerce expansion, pricing intelligence, fraud/risk management, or automation projects.

• Provide market insights to enhance Japan-specific messaging.

• Support Bright Data's presence at conferences, meetups, executive roundtables, and customer meetings.

• Lead outreach efforts before and after events.

• Transform event discussions into qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities.

• Keep accurate records in the CRM system.

• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architects, Marketing, and APAC/global leadership.

• Monitor pipeline contributions, meeting quality, conversion rates, and account engagement.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of BDR/SDR or outbound and inbound sales experience in a B2B SaaS company, specifically targeting software developers or engineers is essential.

• A strong technical curiosity and a genuine interest in AI, data infrastructure, or developer tools.

• Capability to comprehend and convey technical concepts to both business and engineering audiences.

• Practical experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

• Familiarity with sales engagement platforms like Outreach or Salesloft.

• Residing in Japan and willing to travel regularly within the country.

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English is required for local market engagement.

• Deep understanding of the Japanese enterprise landscape, including cultural nuances related to business relationships, hierarchy, and purchasing processes.

• Proficient in both digital prospecting and in-person networking.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and excel in a remote, high-autonomy setting.
