This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.
• Enhance Tether’s growth and visibility in Nigeria by promoting its solutions, products, and services.
• Discover, engage, and secure new business prospects within Nigeria and the surrounding region.
• Establish, cultivate, and oversee commercial and strategic alliances with Nigerian banks, fintech companies, and major corporations.
• Foster strong connections with partners, clients, and stakeholders.
• Create a pipeline of USDt integration opportunities throughout the Nigerian payment ecosystem.
• Formulate and execute go-to-market strategies in Nigeria and the wider region.
• Monitor and evaluate KPIs to enhance and refine market strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover trends, challenges, and growth possibilities.
• Examine USDt and fiat flows to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Keep track of regulatory shifts and evaluate their implications for the business.
• Maintain relationships with regulators, governmental agencies, and industry organizations.
• Represent Tether at essential meetings and industry gatherings.
• Engage and participate in fintech events, conferences, and meetups to boost brand visibility.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Finance.
• MBA is preferred.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in cross-border settlements, mobile money, and/or payment infrastructures.
• Experience in telecommunications or banking is advantageous.
• Extensive understanding of the Nigerian market, culture, and regulations related to blockchain, fintech, finance, remittances, and payments.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience in setting and monitoring KPIs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record in managing partnerships, KPI monitoring, and driving business growth.
• Analytical, strategic, and outcome-oriented problem-solving capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and expertise in project management.
• Proactive, independent, and well-organized work approach.
• Ability to succeed independently in dynamic, ambiguous environments.
• Willingness to travel both internationally and locally.
• Proven history of successfully establishing and managing strategic partnerships.
