Executive Search – Sales Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the candidate aspect of executive search projects within the US investment banking sector.

• Actively seek out and engage with senior professionals in banking and financial services.

• Identify appropriate candidates through direct sourcing, market analysis, and professional networks.

• Conduct in-depth candidate interviews and qualification discussions.

• Foster robust relationships with senior professionals and maintain continuous candidate engagement.

• Present career opportunities in a professional and confidential manner.

• Evaluate candidates' experience, motivations, and fit for executive-level roles.

• Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.

• Develop and sustain talent pipelines in investment banking and private markets.

• Collaborate with senior consultants on retained executive search assignments.

• Provide market intelligence and candidate insights to enhance search strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in executive search, headhunting, or specialized recruitment.

• Proven success in sourcing and engaging senior-level professionals.

• Experience in recruiting within investment banking, financial services, or private markets is highly desirable.

• Exceptional candidate relationship management and interviewing abilities.

• Strong commercial acumen and comprehension of professional recruitment processes.

• Confidently communicate with senior bankers, executives, and decision-makers.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills, especially during video interviews.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously.

• Must be located in Cape Town and available to work during US business hours.

• Prior recruitment experience is essential; backgrounds in administrative roles, virtual assistance, and general coordination will not be considered.
