Executive Recruiter – Public Pension Executive Director Search

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the client to outline the responsibilities of the executive director, establish leadership priorities, and identify necessary qualifications.

• Create a focused candidate pool from public retirement systems and pertinent pension organizations.

• Connect with qualified executives through direct outreach and professional networking.

• Evaluate candidates' experience in pension administration, board relations, organizational management, and member services.

• Develop candidate assessments and assist the client in making shortlist and finalist selections.

• Organize interviews, references, necessary background checks, and offer negotiations.

• Ensure clear milestones, maintain candidate communication, and provide regular updates throughout the search process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in recruiting executive directors, chief executives, or similar senior leaders for public pension or retirement organizations.

• Established connections within the public retirement-system sector.

• Understanding of pension governance and the unique roles of executive management and investment leadership.

• Experience in advising boards or executive search committees.

• Excellent research, candidate evaluation, and stakeholder communication abilities.
