Executive Recruiter – College President Search

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Transform the institution’s objectives into a well-defined candidate profile and search strategy.

• Identify and engage current presidents, provosts, and other qualified senior leaders.

• Conduct interviews with candidates and evaluate their leadership experience, institutional compatibility, and readiness.

• Present qualified candidates with concise summaries highlighting their strengths and pertinent experience.

• Organize search committee meetings, candidate interviews, and activities for finalists.

• Oversee candidate communications, references, and coordination of offers until completion.

• Maintain a structured search process with clear milestones and consistent client updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience leading searches for college or university presidents, or similar high-level executive searches in higher education.

• A well-established network within higher education leadership.

• Experience providing counsel to governing boards and search committees.

• Strong skills in candidate assessment, outreach, and client communication.

• Capability to manage sensitive information and navigate competing stakeholder priorities.
