This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Deliver financial planning and advisory services to Fidelity’s Workplace Investing executive clients.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with executives and management leaders of Workplace benefit plan clients.
• Act as a key financial planning resource for executives typically holding $3 million or less in combined workplace and retail assets.
• Assist with less complex planning requirements, including college funding, savings strategies, and early retirement planning.
• Collaborate with Managing Directors, Benefits Planning Consultants, Benefits Relationship Managers, and other professionals in Executive Services.
• Partner with the Vice President and Executive Planning Consultants to refer executives with higher asset levels or more advanced planning needs.
• Manage and strengthen executive relationships through continuous guidance and mentorship.
• Provide financial planning, retirement income strategies, investment advice, and product recommendations.
• Integrate executive benefits and plan provisions into holistic financial plans.
• Develop and expand a book of business through referrals, seminars, and workplace-sponsored events.
• Identify, pursue, and follow up on opportunities to gather additional client assets.
• Demonstrate Fidelity products and services to fulfill executive needs and enhance client engagement and conversion.
• Gain insights into client companies’ cultures, executive demographics, and benefit plans.
• Assist clients in understanding the financial implications of benefit modifications.
• Address executives’ immediate and long-term needs through client-focused advice, planning, and guidance.
• Series 7 and 66 licenses are mandatory.
• An insurance license is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation is encouraged.
• CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation is encouraged.
• Experience in working with executives and employee benefit plans is essential.
• Ability to comprehend clients’ unique financial circumstances and suggest suitable solutions.
• Strong understanding of brokerage, insurance, investment management, estate planning, financial planning, and retirement planning.
• Capability to integrate Fidelity’s planning, guidance, and service technology while navigating complex regulatory and licensing frameworks.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Outstanding presentation skills in both one-on-one and group environments.
• Strategic thinking with the capacity to influence executive decision-making.
• Strong practice, territory, and project management skills with a proven history of effective execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as necessary.
