This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with executives and management leaders of Workplace benefit plan clients.
• Collaborate to design thorough wealth planning solutions tailored to the specific needs of executive clients.
• Act as a primary financial planning resource for executives typically possessing $1 million or less in combined workplace and retail assets.
• Assist with planning requirements such as college funding, savings objectives, and early retirement strategies.
• Partner with VP Executive Planning Consultants on advanced planning requirements.
• Work alongside Managing Directors, Benefits Planning Consultants, Benefits Relationship Managers, and other executive services personnel.
• Engage with new executives and strengthen existing relationships.
• Integrate executives' benefits and distinctive plan provisions into the planning approach.
• Offer client-focused advice and guidance utilizing Fidelity’s products and financial planning resources.
• Gain insights into companies’ corporate cultures and the specific needs of executives.
• Refer executives with higher asset levels or more complex planning requirements to VP Executive Planning Consultants.
• Ensure a smooth client experience within Fidelity’s Investor Services business unit.
• Series 7 and 66 licenses are mandatory.
• Insurance license is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hiring.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation is encouraged.
• CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation is encouraged.
• Experience with executives and employee benefit plans is essential.
• Proven ability to comprehend clients’ unique financial circumstances and suggest suitable solutions.
• Strong knowledge in brokerage, insurance, investment management, estate planning, financial planning, and retirement planning.
• Capability to utilize Fidelity’s planning, guidance, and service technology while adhering to complex regulatory requirements imposed by necessary licenses.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Outstanding presentation abilities in both individual and group contexts.
• Strategic thinking with the capacity to influence executive decision-making.
• Effective practice management and execution skills.
• Ability to introduce executives to a variety of investment strategies and recognize opportunities to consolidate additional assets.
• Dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Possess coachable, collaborative, and inquisitive qualities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
