This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Market and sell existing and prospective oncology therapeutics within designated specialties and accounts.
• Showcase in-depth knowledge of product clinical efficacy and communicate customer value propositions effectively.
• Offer clinical support and information as required.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
• Conduct business analysis and seek new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with the District Manager and internal partners to devise account strategies.
• Identify key accounts and formulate penetration plans.
• Create customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, questions, and approved materials.
• Expand sales in both new and existing accounts to boost territory performance.
• Utilize company-sanctioned marketing tools and resources, including computer-generated presentations.
• Employ closing techniques to progress sales opportunities.
• Discuss access and reimbursement options in compliance with regulations with customers.
• Negotiate sales terms and finalize orders.
• Report directly to a District Manager as an Oncology Sales Specialist in the field.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight stays and/or weekends.
• At least two (2) years of proven experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales, or recently transitioned from Active Duty Military.
• Must reside in the specified geography or be willing to relocate there.
• Preferred: Experience in specialty sales and familiarity with the Solid Tumor and Oncology market.
• Preferred: Background in hospital and large account sales, complex reimbursement challenges, Medicare Part D, and a record of successful sales performance in a competitive setting.
• Preferred: Dedication to understanding emerging technologies such as AI.
• Preferred skills encompass clinical experience, effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, customer focus, data proficiency, partnership development, knowledge in hematology, oncology, performance metrics, pharmaceutical industry insights, pharmaceutical sales marketing, problem-solving, product knowledge, relationship building, sales acumen, sales forecasting, sales trend analysis, and strategic sales planning.
