This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote existing and potential new oncology therapeutics across approved specialties and accounts.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of product clinical efficacy and effectively communicate customer value propositions.
• Offer clinical support and pertinent information as required to reach sales targets.
• Conduct business analyses and seek new opportunities within designated accounts.
• Collaborate with the District Manager and internal stakeholders to formulate account strategies.
• Create customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, inquiries, and approved resources.
• Expand presence in new and existing accounts to boost sales within the assigned territory.
• Leverage company-approved marketing tools and resources, including computer-generated presentations.
• Employ closing techniques to advance sales processes effectively.
• Compliantly discuss access and reimbursement options with customers.
• Negotiate sales agreements and finalize orders to meet established sales objectives.
• Report to a District Manager while functioning as a field-based Oncology Sales Specialist.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed, including overnight trips and/or weekends.
• At least two (2) years of proven experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales, or recently transitioned from Active Duty Military.
• Must reside in the geographical area or be willing to relocate there.
• Preference for candidates with specialty sales experience and knowledge of the Solid Tumor and Oncology market.
• Experience in hospital and large account sales, managing complex reimbursement issues, Medicare Part D, and a documented history of successful sales performance in a competitive setting is preferred.
