This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Execute sales strategies by marketing existing and potential new oncology therapeutics within designated specialties and accounts.
β’ Exhibit a solid understanding of the clinical effectiveness of products, clearly communicate customer value propositions, offer clinical support/information, and meet sales targets.
β’ Perform business analysis and seek new opportunities within assigned accounts according to the call plan strategy.
β’ Collaborate with the District Manager and internal partners to devise account strategies, identifying key accounts and penetration plans.
β’ Create customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, probing questions, and approved materials.
β’ Expand sales in the assigned territory by targeting both new and existing accounts.
β’ Leverage approved marketing resources and tools, including computer-generated presentations, and employ closing techniques to drive sales.
β’ Engage in compliant discussions regarding access and reimbursement options with customers.
β’ Negotiate sales and finalize orders to achieve sales goals.
β’ Report to a District Manager in the capacity of a field-based Oncology Sales Specialist.
β’ A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
β’ Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend trips.
β’ At least two (2) years of successful experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales, or a recent transition from Active Duty Military.
β’ Must reside in the assigned geographical area or be open to relocation.
β’ Preferred: Experience in specialty sales and familiarity with the Solid Tumor and Oncology market.
β’ Preferred: Background in hospital and large account sales, experience managing complex reimbursement issues, Medicare Part D, and a proven track record of successful sales performance in a competitive landscape.
β’ Demonstrated dedication to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and continuous application of new tools.
β’ If under 18, may be required to acquire necessary working papers or other documentation mandated by state law, alongside parental consent for background checks.
