This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Promote existing and prospective oncology therapeutics within designated specialties and accounts.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of the clinical efficacy of products.
• Clearly communicate customer value propositions and provide necessary clinical support/information.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
• Perform business analysis and seek new opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with the District Manager and internal partners to formulate account strategies.
• Create customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, probes, and approved materials.
• Expand sales within new and existing accounts in the assigned territory.
• Leverage approved marketing tools and resources, including computer-generated presentations.
• Apply closing techniques to advance sales processes.
• Discuss access and reimbursement options in a compliant manner.
• Negotiate sales and finalize orders to achieve sales goals.
• Report to a District Manager in the capacity of a field-based Oncology Sales Specialist.
• A bachelor's degree at a minimum.
• A valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel as required, including overnight trips and/or weekends.
• At least two (2) years of successful experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales, or a recent transition from Active Duty Military.
• Must reside in the designated geographic area or be willing to relocate.
• Preferred: experience in specialty sales and knowledge of the Solid Tumor and Oncology market.
• Preferred: experience in hospital and large account sales.
• Preferred: experience managing complex reimbursement challenges and Medicare Part D.
• Preferred: a proven track record of successful sales performance in a competitive setting.
• Demonstrated dedication to learning new technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and the application of new tools over time.
