This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
β’ Execute sales strategies by marketing existing and prospective oncology therapeutics within designated specialties and accounts.
β’ Exhibit a strong understanding of product clinical efficacy, convey customer value propositions, deliver clinical support/information, and accomplish sales targets.
β’ Perform business analysis and seek new opportunities within assigned accounts according to the call plan direction.
β’ Collaborate with the District Manager and internal partners to formulate account strategies, identify key accounts, and create penetration plans.
β’ Design customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, inquiries, and approved support materials.
β’ Expand sales in the assigned territory by penetrating both new and existing accounts.
β’ Leverage approved marketing tools and resources, including computer-generated presentations.
β’ Employ closing techniques to advance sales to the subsequent phase.
β’ Compliantly discuss access and reimbursement options with customers.
β’ Negotiate sales and finalize orders to achieve sales objectives.
β’ Report to a District Manager as a field-based Oncology Sales Specialist.
β’ A bachelor's degree is required.
β’ Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend trips.
β’ At least two (2) years of proven experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales, or a recent transition from Active Duty Military.
β’ Must reside in the designated area or be willing to relocate.
β’ Experience in specialty sales and familiarity with the Solid Tumor and Oncology market.
β’ Background in hospital and large account sales, managing complex reimbursement challenges, Medicare Part D, along with a documented history of successful sales performance in a competitive setting.
β’ Proven dedication to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and the application of new tools over time.
