This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Implement sales strategies by marketing both existing and potential new oncology therapeutics within authorized specialties and accounts.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the product's clinical effectiveness and convey customer value propositions effectively.
• Offer clinical support and information as required.
• Meet sales targets consistently.
• Perform business analysis and scout for new business opportunities within designated accounts.
• Collaborate with the District Manager and internal partners to formulate account strategies.
• Identify key accounts and create targeted penetration plans.
• Design customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, inquiries, and approved resources.
• Expand sales within both new and existing accounts in the designated territory.
• Leverage company-approved marketing tools and resources, including computer-generated presentations.
• Employ closing techniques to progress sales to the next phase.
• Discuss access and reimbursement options with customers in a compliant manner.
• Negotiate sales and finalize orders to achieve sales objectives.
• Report to a District Manager while serving as a field-based Oncology Sales Specialist.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
• A valid driver's license and the capability to travel as needed, including overnight stays and/or weekends.
• At least two (2) years of proven success in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience, or a recent transition from Active Duty Military.
• Must reside within the designated geography or be willing to relocate.
• Experience in specialty sales and a solid understanding of the Solid Tumor and Oncology market.
• Background in hospital and large account sales.
• Experience addressing complex reimbursement challenges, including Medicare Part D.
• Proven track record of successful sales performance in a competitive setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and the application of new tools over time.
