This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Promote Acadia products to healthcare professionals through both in-person and virtual interactions, delivering clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information in a compliant manner.
• Create and implement territory business plans utilizing market data, customer insights, and quarterly action plans.
• Build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections employing advanced dialogue and selling techniques.
• Customize approved sales aids, clinical reprints, and brand resources according to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with managed markets, operations, sales training, marketing, and other internal teams.
• Provide guidance on product pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution channels; coordinate on access-related issues.
• Monitor and document sales activities, business expenses, and customer interactions.
• Represent Acadia at conferences, exhibitions, training sessions, and national, regional, and local meetings.
• Mentor and train new sales specialists while contributing to cross-functional projects and offering field strategic insights.
• Bachelor's degree is required; a focus on life sciences is preferred.
• A minimum of 12 years of healthcare sales experience is needed for the Executive level.
• At least 3 years of experience in complex or account-based selling environments is necessary.
• A profound understanding of neuroscience disease states, Acadia products, and local/regional market dynamics is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual engagement platforms like Zoom and WebEx is required.
• A strong grasp of payer dynamics, including Part D and specialty pharmacy/hub distribution, is essential.
• Demonstrated advanced selling skills, leadership capabilities, and business acumen are necessary.
• Proven success in influencing diverse healthcare professional audiences across various care settings is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and consistently achieve high results is required.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or within 30 miles of its border.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is necessary.
• Must be able to meet significant travel requirements, including driving, overnight stays, and air travel.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements for access to healthcare professional offices, long-term care facilities, and medical conferences is mandatory.
• Ability to travel independently overnight and/or work after hours as needed is required.
• Capacity to lift or move up to 20 pounds occasionally is necessary.
