This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the senior leader at Bicara for trade and patient-support strategies in preparation for the commercial introduction of ficerafusp alfa (FICERA).
• Develop and implement the enterprise trade strategy encompassing distribution, GPOs, patient support programs, and strategic partnerships.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and guarantee channel readiness.
• Create frameworks for compliant, efficient, and high-performing trade operations.
• Collect and synthesize insights on trade, distribution, and patient support to ensure a successful new product launch.
• Formulate and execute strategies for trade and patient support that enhance access and improve patient experience.
• Design and implement contracting strategies with GPOs.
• Build and lead a team focused on trade operations, patient support, and field reimbursement.
• Lead negotiations with specialty distributors, specialty pharmacies, GPOs, and patient hub partners.
• Serve as the primary subject-matter expert in trade operations.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities, and devise solutions to enhance efficiency, profitability, and product availability.
• Monitor competitive dynamics and identify emerging opportunities.
• Develop and uphold compliant patient support policies, business rules, and operational frameworks.
• Manage strategic relationships with external partners.
• Ensure that strategies meet budget, forecast, and corporate performance objectives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Market Access teams.
• Report directly to the SVP of Market Access.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical trade, distribution, GPO, patient support, and strategic partnership roles.
• Experience in pharmaceutical trade and patient support for a launch product is mandatory.
• Proven experience in negotiating, implementing, executing, and monitoring channel-partner contracts.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Executive presence with a solid sense of accountability.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Proven leadership skills with seamless cross-functional coordination, backed by exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• A strong record of efficient, effective, solution-oriented multitasking.

• Willingness to travel 50% or more.
• MBA is preferred.
• Experience with the launch of a publicly traded company's first market entry is preferred.
