Executive Director of Advocacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and execute advocacy initiatives in targeted markets, with a particular emphasis on Medicaid programs.

• Collaborate with local leadership to incorporate advocacy goals into the overall business strategy and objectives.

• Monitor and report on legislation and regulations that influence access to care.

• Establish and maintain relationships with legislators, regulators, payors, and industry collaborators.

• Represent LEARN at various forums, conferences, and events.

• Keep executive management updated on developments that may affect the organization.

• Work alongside Payor Relations and RCM teams on issues related to reimbursement.

• Act as a liaison with key industry organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in advocacy, government relations, public policy, or a related field.

• Preference for candidates with direct experience in the field of ABA.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• Capacity to convert complex policy matters into actionable advocacy plans.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Willingness to travel to represent LEARN in key markets and forums.

• Candidates must currently be eligible to work in the United States.

• Proficiency in expressive and receptive communication, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to identify potential issues proactively before they escalate.
