Executive Director, HCP Marketing – CIDP Indication Lead

📋 Description

• Drive the promotional strategy and implementation for HCPs to enhance the growth of VYVGART Hytrulo in CIDP.

• Assess portfolio performance, market trends, customer insights, and engagement metrics.

• Establish the dual-asset strategy and co-positioning framework for the Empasiprubart CIDP launch.

• Craft a franchise-level value narrative that distinguishes the two CIDP brands.

• Spearhead HCP disease awareness and unbranded educational initiatives.

• Ensure that field teams are equipped with the right messages, tools, training, and context for customers.

• Collaborate with Medical and Development to define evidence-generation priorities.

• Anticipate competitive movements and modify the ecosystem strategy accordingly.

• Represent the HCP customer on the CIDP Indication Strategy Team.

• Provide guidance, prioritization, and performance expectations for various workstreams and initiatives.

• Develop strategic recommendations suitable for executive review by utilizing analytics and scenario modeling.

• Guarantee that Neurology HCP engagement aligns with enterprise experience standards, journey design principles, customer feedback, and consistent practices.

• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the HCP Experience team, including direct reports and cross-functional contributors.

• Create growth opportunities for team members and emerging marketing talent.

• Promote customer-centricity, accountability, collaboration, innovation, excellence, and humility.

• Ensure compliance, sound judgment, and an understanding of the regulatory landscape for HCP marketing in complex biologics and rare disease fields.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Approximately 12–15+ years of pertinent experience.

• Extensive experience in HCP marketing, specialty marketing, launch planning, lifecycle management, or therapeutic area strategy.

• Background in rare diseases, immunology, neurology, biologics, or other complex treatment markets.

• Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across diverse customer segments, channels, brands, indications, or lifecycle phases.

• Experience in product launch and lifecycle management.

• Strong comprehension of HCP customer journeys, peer influence models, KOL engagement, field enablement, disease-state education, and omnichannel engagement.

• Proven experience in leading cross-community teams within a matrix environment.

• Experience in budget management, strategic priorities, agency partnerships, and complex execution workstreams.

• Demonstrated capability to develop talent, coach teams, and lead during organizational growth, uncertainty, and change.

• Profound understanding of HCP marketing strategies, customer engagement, and commercial execution in specialty, rare disease, biologics, or similarly intricate markets.

• Strong knowledge of Neurology customer ecosystems.

• Ability to devise integrated HCP engagement strategies across various brands, indications, customer segments, and lifecycle stages.

• Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to lead in a matrix environment and influence senior stakeholders.

• Experience in shaping customer-centered HCP journeys, engagement plans, disease-state education, peer-to-peer strategies, congress strategies, and field enablement methodologies.

• Ability to translate complex clinical, product, access, and market data into clear messages and resources.

• Understanding of personal and non-personal promotion, digital and omnichannel engagement, modular content, customer analytics, and agile marketing.

• Experience collaborating with Field, TLL, Medical, Market Access, Patient Experience, Digital, Insights, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and external agency partners.

• Strong leadership presence and effective communication skills.

• Ability to balance enterprise coordination with brand and indication-specific responsibilities.

• Willingness to travel based on business requirements.

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Experience in a rapidly scaling or evolving organization is preferred.
