This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Lead and support initiatives aimed at enhancing Global Medical Affairs strategy across various clients and projects.
• Convert strategic objectives into actionable plans, organized programs, and quantifiable results.
• Propel enterprise-wide and cross-functional projects with strong project management and accountability.
• Create scalable, technology-driven operating models and solutions for Medical Affairs.
• Foster operational excellence, efficiency, scalability, modernization of workflows, and continuous enhancement.
• Establish and track performance indicators, standard operating procedures, working instructions, and training programs.
• Act as a reliable advisor and strategic partner to clients and leaders of Global Medical Affairs.
• Supervise assigned projects and provide strategic and operational guidance across Medical Affairs functions.
• Collaborate with EVERSANA business units to offer integrated commercialization and medical solutions.
• Develop and implement a thought-leadership strategy and annual plans for Global Medical Affairs.
• Represent EVERSANA and Medical Affairs at industry meetings and professional organizations.
• Assist in business development through requests for proposals, presentations, networking, and thought leadership.
• Create capability presentations and technology demonstrations.
• Review and execute statements of work and contracts, including renewals.
• Manage Medical Affairs services P&L and contribute to financial planning processes.
• Establish, lead, and nurture the global Medical Affairs team and its staffing model.
• Develop onboarding processes, training programs, agency partnerships, and consultant networks.
• Identify staffing requirements and create job descriptions and requisitions.
• Build and enhance high-performing teams and subject-matter experts.
• Mentor talent, oversee hiring and performance evaluations, and provide coaching and constructive feedback.
• PharmD, MD, or PhD is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8–12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Significant background within biopharmaceutical companies or relevant service providers.
• Comprehensive experience in Medical Strategy & Planning, Medical Communications/Publications, Medical Information, Medical Affairs Operations, Advisory Boards, Investigator-Initiated Studies, and lifecycle management.
• Proven track record of leading complex initiatives and driving operational excellence and transformation.
• Strong skills in project and program management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and achieve results through cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
• Strategic and structured thought process linking vision to execution.
• Emphasis on scalability, efficiency, quality, and measurable impact.
• Experience in developing high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with Medical Information platforms, content and publication management systems, MSL tools, CRM platforms, digital engagement, and analytics tools.
• Experience in utilizing advanced analytics, automation, emerging technologies, and AI.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Capability to work over 40 hours per week.
