Executive Director – Chief of Staff, Caremark Medical Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the SVP/CMO and the leadership team of Caremark Medical Affairs to define and advance strategic priorities, the strategic roadmap, and alignment with broader enterprise goals.

• Oversee cross-functional projects from planning through execution, measurement, and follow-up.

• Recognize organizational and operational challenges and assist in implementing practical, sustainable solutions.

• Foster relationships with leadership teams, enterprise partners, and subject matter experts.

• Leverage influence and organizational insight to facilitate alignment across intricate priorities and decisions.

• Aid in managing the Caremark Medical Affairs budget line items, which includes payroll and travel expenses.

• Create executive-level presentations, proposals, briefing materials, and communications for senior leadership.

• Oversee the cadence of leadership meetings, including staff meetings, senior leader meetings, town halls, and other significant forums.

• Establish agendas, ensure content and presentation readiness, coordinate speakers, and ensure follow-through on decisions and action items.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in business leadership, Chief of Staff, strategy, operations, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to lead intricate, cross-functional initiatives and execute in a dynamic environment.

• Strong strategic reasoning, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in developing presentations and communications for executive audiences.

• Experience working with senior executives and influencing stakeholders across different functions without direct authority.

• Capacity to balance long-term strategic planning with operational execution and follow-through.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in utilizing data and insights to guide decisions and address complex business challenges.

• Experience in change leadership.

• Familiarity with AI and technology.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
