This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop, enhance, and sustain professional relationships with external stakeholders, healthcare and health plan executives, medical associations, counties, and policy professionals within the region.
• Retain current network participants in the region, ensuring they derive maximum value from their involvement with MX.
• Strategically expand the MX network within the region to achieve MX revenue objectives while delivering value to participants.
• Collaborate with fellow Regional Executive Directors and internal MX teams to strategically plan and implement growth initiatives that optimize MX’s influence and revenue in the region.
• Leverage expertise and vision to effectively communicate the value of MX within complex settings.
• Produce and document insights regarding the market environment and competitive landscape in the region.
• Organize a blend of in-person and virtual regional meetings at least quarterly, bringing together key stakeholders and fostering collaborations.
• Attend, network, and present at local events pertinent to MX’s business and health data sharing in the region.
• Foster a local presence for Manifest MedEx and report to the Chief Business Development Officer.
• Establish, maintain, and broaden relationships with key stakeholders and network participants within the territory.
• All candidates must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Must reside within the designated region.
• Familiarity with regional healthcare, health plan, and county or public health stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong public speaking abilities and capacity to command attention in a room and engage an audience.
• Bachelor’s Degree; an advanced degree is advantageous.
• 7+ years of experience in California working with health plans, counties, providers, and hospitals.
• Established relationships with California healthcare stakeholders.
• Understanding of health plan, hospital, county, and/or IPA business models, revenue streams, quality improvement requirements, and value-based care frameworks that incorporate shared savings and risk adjustment.
• Capability to identify new opportunities and strategies that align with MX’s mission and enhance MX’s impact in local communities.
• Experience utilizing a CRM to monitor and close opportunities.
• Willingness to travel as needed within California.
• Ability to collaborate with and influence others, demonstrate urgency, adaptability, creative thinking, and personal integrity.
• Charismatic leadership with the ability to inspire individuals and organizations to collaborate and utilize data for informed decision-making and problem-solving.
• Capacity to represent MX positively, proactively, and professionally with external contacts, customers, and the community.
