📋 Description

• Define and lead the asset strategy for small molecule clinical programs focused on oncology and immunology/inflammation.

• Incorporate competitive positioning, mechanistic differentiation, biomarker strategy, and patient segmentation into portfolio decisions.

• Convert insights from Recursion OS and ClinTech into strategic advantages for assets.

• Develop and rigorously evaluate competitive narratives for portfolio assets.

• Establish evidence bases that inform leadership decisions, discussions with partners, and communications with investors.

• Collaborate with clinical development, business development, finance, and platform leaders regarding resource allocation.

• Elevate efforts in advancing, differentiating, and delivering assets to patients.

• Function as a senior strategic partner across Clinical Development, Discovery, ClinTech, Platform, and Business Development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD in life sciences or a related scientific field with extensive expertise in drug discovery and development is essential.

• Over 10 years of experience in the biotech/pharma industry, demonstrating a successful track record of strategic leadership at the asset level and progressing programs through clinical stage-gates.

• Profound expertise in developing small molecule therapeutics for oncology and immunology/inflammation is required.

• Experience in rare diseases is a valuable asset.

• Proven ability to utilize computational methods and data-driven platforms for asset strategy and clinical decision-making.

• Skill in constructing and articulating strategic and competitive cases for clinical assets, considering mechanistic differentiation, competitive dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and market factors.

• Strong financial understanding for cross-functional resource allocation, asset valuation, and portfolio trade-offs.

• Outstanding executive presence and proficiency in presenting recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
