This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for a select portfolio of DataSpring’s most significant and strategic partners.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with board members, C-suite executives, senior decision-makers, and operational leaders.
• Create and implement comprehensive, multi-year strategic account plans.
• Maintain strategies for executive engagement, relationship mapping, executive sponsorships, strategic planning sessions, and business reviews.
• Safeguard client relationships through risk identification, mitigation strategies, escalations, and fulfillment of commitments.
• Convert client strategies and market challenges into actionable implications for DataSpring.
• Advocate for strategic client priorities across Executive Leadership, Product, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Technology, and other departments.
• Supply client and market intelligence to guide product strategy, investments, operating priorities, and go-to-market planning.
• Discover opportunities for innovation, new solutions, pilot projects, use cases, and partnership expansion.
• Collaborate with Sales and commercial leaders on growth prospects, contract renewals, and complex negotiations.
• Define measurable outcomes related to value, adoption, retention, innovation, and growth.
• Assess account health across relationships, adoption, operational performance, support, finances, and future opportunities.
• Keep strategic account information updated in Salesforce and other designated systems.
• Lead cross-functional account teams and internal reviews for executive accounts.
• Engage internal leaders and subject-matter experts to address client priorities, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide mentorship to colleagues in Client Partnerships.
• Contribute to practices for executive engagement, account playbooks, health frameworks, and relationship management standards.
• Represent DataSpring at client events, executive meetings, industry forums, and other external engagements.
• Travel frequently, up to 30% of the time, for executive meetings, client engagements, and industry events.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in strategic account management, client partnerships, customer success, consulting, healthcare leadership, or another senior client-facing role.
• Significant experience with health plans, provider organizations, healthcare technology companies, or healthcare administrative solutions is strongly preferred.
• Proven success in managing complex, high-value enterprise relationships involving multiple products, stakeholders, and priorities.
• Experience in engaging and influencing board members, C-suite executives, and senior operational decision-makers.
• Strong executive presence and credibility as a trusted advisor.
• Proven ability to protect and expand strategic client relationships, including retention, renewals, adoption, value realization, and growth.
• Experience in developing and executing multi-year strategic account plans and executive engagement strategies.
• Ability to link complex healthcare business challenges to data, technology, and administrative solutions.
• Strong commercial judgment and experience in identifying whitespace, shaping expansion opportunities, and supporting intricate commercial discussions.
• Aptitude for identifying emerging risks, leading executive escalations, and navigating sensitive or high-stakes client situations.
• Experience in leading complex cross-functional teams and initiatives without direct authority.
• Capacity to influence internal executives and translate client priorities into organizational action.
• Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills for board-level and executive-level discussions.
• Ability to distill client, market, financial, product, and operational information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Strong organizational discipline in managing complex relationships and priorities.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or another enterprise CRM platform.
• Willingness and capability to travel regularly, up to 30% of the time.
