EVP, Market Access and Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and expand Coral's upstream GPO contracts, manufacturer agreements, and wholesale/distributor partnerships.

• Lead the negotiation and ongoing management of agreements with both members and distributors, as well as members and manufacturers.

• Cultivate and manage downstream channel relationships with member facilities, specialty networks, and purchasing cooperatives.

• Monitor market trends and proactively adapt strategies to safeguard and enhance client savings.

• Establish the operational framework and data standards for contract ingestion and management.

• Oversee and expand Coral's portfolio of GPO contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers and medical supply vendors.

• Negotiate and administer Enhanced Data Service Agreements with manufacturers.

• Manage the administration of post-admin discount programs.

• Develop and enhance the new GPO member acquisition pipeline.

• Create and maintain customer-specific savings roadmaps and execution plans for all active GPO members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of progressively senior experience in healthcare group purchasing, pharmaceutical supply chain, specialty distribution, or managed procurement services.

• Extensive working knowledge of GPO contract structures, administration fee mechanisms, post-admin discount programs, class-of-trade eligibility, and NDC-level purchasing regulations.

• Proven experience in negotiating and managing upstream manufacturer agreements, downstream member or network agreements, and wholesale/distributor relationships.

• A successful track record of managing or selling to health systems, specialty practices, or GPO member accounts, including hands-on experience in savings analysis, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing account management.

• Familiarity with Enhanced Data Service Agreements, data monetization programs, or other manufacturer-GPO commercial arrangements beyond standard contract administration.

• Experience in building and leading teams within a high-growth or early-stage environment, necessitating the establishment of organizational structure and processes from the ground up.
