Events Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to establish event goals, scope, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring effective tracking of performance.

• Create, oversee, and monitor event budgets to guarantee cost efficiency while adhering to authorized resources.

• Act as the main point of contact for event agencies, vendors, and partners; deliver clear briefs and ensure high-quality execution.

• Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Research, Sponsorship, and other stakeholders across various areas including content, audience acquisition, event logistics, speaker management, venue sourcing, vendor coordination, AV and technical production, marketing and promotion, and on-site execution.

• Function as the Project Management Office (PMO) for events, overseeing timelines, deliverables, communications, and potential risks.

• Prepare post-event reports that analyze performance against KPIs and provide actionable recommendations for future improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in event marketing or management, preferably in B2B settings.

• Demonstrated success in managing and executing events from start to finish, on schedule and within budget constraints.

• Excellent organizational abilities with a sharp attention to detail, capable of managing multiple events concurrently.

• Strong skills in relationship-building and the ability to collaborate effectively with agencies, cross-functional teams, and vendors.

• Experience with regional or international events is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel throughout the APAC region as needed.

• An outcome-driven mindset focused on achieving high-quality results that align with business objectives.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, along with strong presentation abilities to support projects across the APAC region.
