This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Oversee the successful execution of all events for How To Manage A Small Law Firm.
• Lead and manage the entire events team to achieve excellence and financial success.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop the annual event strategy and schedule.
• Forecast attendance, room requirements, food and beverage needs, and budgets.
• Organize events and workshops with meticulous attention to detail.
• Secure, negotiate, and finalize venue contracts; manage any amendments.
• Source, negotiate, and contract event vendors; oversee any changes.
• Oversee event budgets, ensure compliance with guidelines, and maintain profitability.
• Create standardized event templates to ensure consistency and quality.
• Supervise onsite event and audiovisual personnel.
• Manage event inventory, which includes AV equipment, supplies, promotional items, and printed materials.
• Oversee audiovisual needs, budgets, and teams.
• Handle event-related communications with participants and staff members.
• Enhance production value through improvements and procedures for optimal client experience and team efficiency.
• Work in collaboration with presenters to ensure excellent content delivery and profitability.
• Proactively manage event details to prevent potential issues.
• Travel for quarterly conferences, workshops, and occasional site inspections.
• Be available to work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.
• At least 5 years of experience in an event leadership role.
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation is essential.
• Experience in producing high-frequency events with 300–800 participants.
• Background in personal development or sales-focused events is a plus.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently.
• Diplomatic and tactful in interactions.
