Event Technology Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with relevant event stakeholders to provide the best technology solutions based on event needs.

• Collect and document requirements for each opportunity, updating them appropriately throughout the event lifecycle.

• Create and oversee a timeline for each project assigned; communicate any changes affecting delivery dates or implementation efforts promptly.

• Set up client websites using the designated registration platform as per the contract.

• Troubleshoot issues throughout the registration process, addressing them swiftly to minimize downtime and ensure website functionality.

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on all developed sites and additional sites as requested.

• Prepare and inform the Customer Xperience team to ensure support for events.

• Assist the Customer Xperience team with inquiries related to registration and mobile apps.

• Support or configure content, integration, and deployment of mobile app as needed.

• Gain familiarity with assigned client accounts, including their priorities, specifics, and key deliverables.

• Actively support colleagues to foster team success.

• Promote continuous improvement through experience gained and available training.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with the meeting and event industry is preferred.

• Proven technical and analytical skills.

• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with event registration tools is preferred (e.g., Cvent, Aventri, Certain).

• Familiarity with event mobile applications is preferred (e.g., CrowdCompass, QuickMobile, Eventbase).

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS is a plus.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once.
