This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Provide guidance to clients regarding their event objectives during consultations.
• Create customized proposals that align with the specific occasion, attendee count, and budget.
• Prepare quotes and clarify the various options available.
• Address any outstanding inquiries, follow up, and assist clients throughout the booking process.
• Conduct research on venues, hotels, and service providers, and compare their proposals.
• Utilize framework agreements and negotiate terms and commissions on behalf of clients.
• Coordinate services and schedules with providers and supervise the execution of events.
• Evaluate how changes affect costs and timelines and outline the subsequent steps.
• Monitor expenses and budgets while supporting events through to final invoicing.
• Foster client relationships and identify potential opportunities for additional events.
• Implement feedback from events to enhance planning processes.
• Provide the product team with specific examples and insights to aid in the ongoing development of the platform.
• Take ownership of revenue and strive towards achieving agreed quarterly targets.
• Prior experience in sales.
• Background in customer consulting, explaining proposals, or assisting clients during the decision-making process.
• Proficient in independently managing customer inquiries or projects.
• Ability to provide an example of how you effectively tracked schedules, arrangements, and costs.
• Proficient in English at a minimum B2 level for proposals and phone communications.
• Eagerness to learn new software and evaluate its effectiveness for customer inquiries.
• Capacity to utilize figures from proposals and budgets to guide decision-making.
• Competence in integrating feedback into your work.
• Sales experience in a hotel, venue, or catering service is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with an event agency or within an in-house event team is favored.
• Familiarity with procurement, event or CRM software, along with relevant professional training, is beneficial but not mandatory.
