Event Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Report to the VP of Marketing and work together on event strategy.

• Take ownership of executing events, ranging from small district gatherings to large-scale conferences.

• Generate return on investment from event expenditures.

• Oversee field initiatives, including trade shows, Lunch and Learns, customer events, webinars, conferences, round tables, dinners, and company gatherings.

• Travel to 3–5 events each quarter to manage logistics and stay updated on market trends.

• Handle pre- and post-event marketing, registration, swag inventory, shipping, logistics, and lead capture.

• Implement event communications, including landing pages, follow-ups, and social media outreach.

• Collaborate with Sales on territory planning and ensure marketing alignment.

• Partner with Demand Generation and Sales Enablement to optimize events for reporting and key performance indicators.

• Develop project plans, conduct checkpoints, identify risks, and deliver events within budget and on schedule.

• Assess event costs, opportunities, ROI, experiences, and relationships.

• Monitor quarterly metrics, program outcomes, and success reporting.

• Track lead flow to guarantee timely follow-up by Sales.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in event logistics and execution, preferably in the SaaS sector.

• Ability to collaborate across various functions with a diverse group of stakeholders.

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Experience in managing logistically complex in-person and virtual events.

• Ability to set appropriate expectations and resolve issues effectively.
