This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Supervise front-of-house operations at the venue, encompassing entry, seating, crowd management, and audience experience.
• Manage entrances, queues, seating areas, merchandise zones, fan engagement activities, and accessibility services.
• Create operational plans for FOH, staffing schedules, integrate run-of-show, and develop audience management protocols.
• Coordinate crowd management, audience flow, fan engagement, security, and safety operations.
• Oversee fan zones and interactive areas within the venue.
• Coordinate load-in schedules with publishing, producers, and production teams.
• Collaborate with venues and FOH vendors regarding ticketing, merchandise, fan experiences, and venue services.
• Select and manage FOH operations partners while overseeing staffing, recruitment, and training processes.
• Supervise ushers, guest services, volunteers, and security teams during live event days.
• Oversee the Ticketing Manager, ensuring adherence to ticketing deadlines, group allocations, platform alignment, and complimentary ticket distribution.
• Coordinate with producers, production, broadcast, tournament operations, venue management, and publishing teams.
• Review, approve, decline, assign, produce, and distribute credentials.
• Manage audience queues, crowd engagement, giveaways, and participation in live shows.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for audience-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with venue policies, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Coordinate medical coverage for staff and audiences as necessary.
• Own and manage the FOH operations budget, including forecasting, planning, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Monitor operational performance and provide post-event reports and recommendations.
• Onboard team members and colleagues supporting FOH operations.
• Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation.
• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Valid passport with a minimum of 12 months before expiration.
• Over 8 years of experience in live event management, venue operations, or front-of-house operations.
• Experience preferably in esports, sports, entertainment, or large-scale live events.
• Demonstrated experience in managing audience-facing operations, including crowd flow, guest services, ticketing operations, and fan engagement.
• Experience collaborating with venues and third-party vendors, including operational partners responsible for staffing, guest services, and security.
• Experience in planning and executing intricate live events, covering both advance planning and on-site operations.
• Proven experience in managing event budgets, including forecasting, cost tracking, and post-event reconciliation.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Knowledge of crowd management, safety planning, and accessibility standards for live events.
• Ability to rapidly problem-solve and make sound operational decisions under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with esports, gaming communities, or live broadcast environments is strongly preferred.
• High flexibility for remote work.
• Potential for on-site onboarding with the team during a live event in Texas.
