This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Supervise front-of-house operations at the venue, encompassing entry, seating, crowd management, and the overall audience experience.
• Oversee entrances, queues, seating areas, merchandise locations, fan activations, and accessibility services.
• Create operational plans for FOH, including staffing schedules, run-of-show integration, and audience management protocols.
• Coordinate fan activations, designated fan zones, and interactive areas within the venue.
• Execute crowd management strategies and collaborate with security and safety personnel.
• Partner with venues, FOH vendors, producers, production teams, publishing entities, tournament operations, broadcast teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Select and manage specialized FOH operations vendors as needed.
• Supervise ushers, guest services, volunteers, and security teams during live event days.
• Manage ticketing processes, including group allocations, ticketing deadlines, and the distribution of complimentary tickets.
• Review, approve, decline, assign, generate, and distribute credentials.
• Organize audience queues, crowd engagement activities, giveaways, and live show participation.
• Serve as the main escalation point for audience-related concerns.
• Ensure adherence to venue policies, safety standards, and accessibility regulations.
• Arrange for appropriate medical coverage for staff and audiences.
• Take ownership of the FOH operations budget, including forecasting, expense monitoring, and post-event reporting.
• Monitor operational performance and deliver post-event reports along with recommendations.
• Onboard new team members and maintain standard operating procedure documentation.
• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Valid passport with a minimum of 12 months before expiration.
• Over 8 years of experience in live event management, venue operations, or front-of-house roles.
• Experience ideally within esports, sports, entertainment, or large-scale live events.
• Demonstrated experience in managing audience-facing operations, including crowd flow, guest services, ticketing operations, and fan engagement activities.
• Experience working with venues and third-party vendors, including operational partners responsible for staffing, guest services, and security.
• Proven ability to plan and execute complex live events, including thorough advance planning and on-site management.
• Experience in managing event budgets, encompassing forecasting, cost tracking, and post-event reconciliation.
• Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
• Cross-functional communication experience with production teams, venue partners, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of crowd management, safety planning, and accessibility standards applicable to live events.
• Ability to quickly problem-solve and make effective operational decisions under pressure.
• Willingness and capability to travel frequently and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with esports, gaming communities, or live broadcast settings is highly preferred.
• Capacity to be away from home for periods of up to 4 weeks at a time.
• High level of remote work flexibility.
• Potential for on-site onboarding with the team during a live event in Texas.
