
Evening Therapist – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver exceptional behavioral healthcare through telehealth services.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Perform psychological and biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations.
• Create and execute personalized treatment plans.
• Offer evidence-based therapy for individuals, groups, and families.
• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, medical doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct suicide risk assessments and consult with clinical leaders as needed.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews to assess length of stay and levels of care.
• Identify community resources for use during treatment and in aftercare planning.
• Comply with established group curriculum and treatment planning protocols.
• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health and behavioral concerns.
• Attend weekly clinical supervision sessions prepared with client updates, case formulations, and questions.
• Adhere to confidentiality, ethical, professional, and legal standards.
• Remain informed about advancements in behavioral therapy and mental health research.
• Provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians when eligible.
• Must hold an independent therapist license in Massachusetts.
• A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related discipline is required.
• Valid Massachusetts independent licensure as a LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent is necessary.
• Willingness and capability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Openness to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians when eligible and as mandated by regulations.
• Proven experience in delivering behavioral therapy, counseling, and group therapy.
• Ability to effectively manage clients in virtual environments and adapt interventions for telehealth.
• Proficient and comfortable using HIPAA-compliant video platforms, EMRs, and virtual collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of or a willingness to learn best practices in telehealth, crisis response, and safety planning in remote settings.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently within a distributed virtual team.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive virtual group culture.
• Availability for an evening EST schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–8:30 PM; Friday, 11:00 AM–4:30 PM EST.
• Additional state licensure may be required depending on Guidelight's operational areas.
