This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Assist the French team in executing projects related to permitting/authorizations, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Assess CapEx and OpEx for fast charging stations.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team during project origination, negotiations, technical assessments, and follow-up on construction deployment.
• Perform technical site visits as necessary.
• Coordinate with engineering and installation partners (EPCs).
• Review and evaluate technical documentation to determine site and project feasibility.
• Provide guidance to Business Development management on technical limitations, challenges, and technological solutions.
• Lead the tendering/RFP process for the procurement of charging stations.
• Communicate with grid operators and relevant authorities regarding permits and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and distribute tenders to EPC subcontractors, establish evaluation criteria, and assist in the selection process.
• Manage communications with ENEDIS or other distribution system operators concerning grid connections.
• Supervise outsourced engineering, procurement, construction, connection, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate efforts between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
• Oversee the commissioning of EV charging stations in collaboration with the Operations & Maintenance department.
• Potentially transition to Operations & Maintenance responsibilities during the operational phase of the asset.
• A university degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience managing projects for urban MV (HTA) and LV (BT) electrical installations.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with fast charging stations at both LV and MV levels is highly regarded.
• Electrical authorization/certification is desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical standards, EV charging infrastructure, and permitting processes.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Self-driven with a proven capability for problem-solving.
• Ability to oversee a large portfolio of projects and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Operational profile with a strategic perspective and hands-on field experience.
• Results-focused with skills in presentation and reporting.
• Capable of working under pressure and adhering to deadlines.
• Fluency in both French and English is required.
• Position based in Bordeaux or the surrounding area.
