Estimator – US Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create precise quantity takeoffs from construction drawings.

• Conduct thorough takeoffs for grading, site utilities, concrete, and reinforcement (rebar).

• Examine architectural, structural, civil, and specification documents.

• Detect missing scope, drawing inconsistencies, and RFI items.

• Generate BOQs and quantity summaries.

• Collaborate with the preconstruction team to adhere to bid deadlines.

• Ensure high accuracy and quality in all takeoff deliverables.

• Assist with multi-trade quantity takeoffs when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in US Construction Estimation/Quantity Takeoffs.

• Robust hands-on experience with grading, site utilities, concrete, and rebar.

• Solid understanding of CSI Divisions and the overall construction scope.

• Capability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.

• Experience with US construction plans and specifications.

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in at least one of PlanSwift or On-Screen Takeoff (OST).

• Experience with Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
