This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +2 more countries.
• Create comprehensive and precise estimates for significant ground-up construction initiatives.
• Assess plans, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs to evaluate material, labor, subcontractor, and other associated project costs.
• Request, analyze, and compare pricing from subcontractors and vendors.
• Engage with American subcontractors and vendors concerning scope, pricing, availability, and requirements.
• Detect gaps, inconsistencies, exclusions, and potential cost risks.
• Develop and maintain estimates, budgets, and pricing documentation.
• Collaborate with clients to comprehend requirements and clarify estimates, pricing, assumptions, and recommendations.
• Address inquiries and objections in a professional manner.
• Present estimates clearly and organize follow-up with subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of estimates.
• Take ownership of the estimating process and proactively manage deadlines.
• Enhance estimating accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.
• Keep records of estimates, bids, communications, and project information.
• Demonstrated experience as a Construction Estimator, ideally with extensive experience in estimating large ground-up construction projects.
• Strong comprehension of construction plans, specifications, scopes, quantities, labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
• Proven ability to independently produce accurate and detailed estimates.
• Significant experience working with subcontractors and vendors.
• Excellent spoken English with clear, professional communication suitable for American clients and subcontractors.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in leading professional discussions with American subcontractors and clients.
• Ability to articulate technical construction and pricing details clearly to non-technical clients.
• Exceptional work ethic, organization, and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple estimates, deadlines, and priorities concurrently.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
• Proficiency with estimating and construction-related software and technology.
• Experience collaborating directly with U.S.-based construction companies, general contractors, subcontractors, or clients.
• Experience estimating commercial or large-scale residential ground-up projects.
• Strong skills in sales or business development.
• Ability to cultivate client relationships and foster trust.
• Experience in presenting estimates and explaining pricing and scope.
• Familiarity with construction estimating, project management, and CRM tools.
• Proactive, accountable, commercially minded, and capable of managing the estimating function with minimal oversight.
• Direct client relationship and independent management of client-related matters.
