This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
β’ Execute comprehensive quantity takeoffs for commercial framing and construction initiatives.
β’ Create precise and competitive estimates and bids.
β’ Analyze construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project scope.
β’ Prepare and oversee RFIs, submittals, revisions, and updates to bids.
β’ Engage with vendors to gather pricing and project details.
β’ Collaborate with subcontractors regarding project scope, pricing, and requirements.
β’ Offer general pre-construction assistance and analysis.
β’ Interact directly with clients and project stakeholders as needed.
β’ Manage multiple estimating tasks and support high-volume bidding processes.
β’ Complete estimates in line with project volume while ensuring accuracy.
β’ Utilize construction software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, ProConnect, Procore, Revit, and AutoCAD.
β’ Keep organized estimating documentation and project records.
β’ Identify gaps in scope, discrepancies, and potential risks in estimating.
β’ Work alongside leadership and project teams to ensure successful project bids.
β’ Independently handle estimates from takeoff to bid submission.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction estimating.
β’ Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience in commercial estimating.
β’ Necessary experience in commercial construction projects; residential-only experience is insufficient.
β’ Exceptional skills in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
β’ Experience in conducting detailed quantity takeoffs and preparing bids.
β’ Familiarity with at least one significant construction estimating or bidding platform.
β’ Proficiency in both English and Spanish; native Spanish speaker preferred.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
β’ Ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
β’ Demonstrated capability to work independently in a remote setting.
β’ Excellent organizational skills, time management, and follow-through abilities.
β’ Reliable internet connection and a designated remote workspace.
β’ Willingness to enter into a 1-year agreement with a 2-week termination clause.
β’ Availability for 40 hours per week.
β’ Familiarity with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, ProConnect, Procore, Revit, or AutoCAD.
