This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for concrete formwork and structural construction projects.
• Analyze GA/structural drawings, specifications, revisions, and project documentation to ascertain scope and pricing requirements.
• Measure and quantify slabs, columns, walls, beams, formwork areas, concrete volumes, and associated construction elements.
• Assist with tender submissions, estimate reviews, pricing updates, variations, and cost reconciliations.
• Recognize scope changes, discrepancies, omissions, risks, and commercial implications during estimating and project evaluations.
• Maintain precise project documentation, drawing revisions, quantity records, estimating databases, and document control systems.
• Collaborate with Estimators, Contract Administrators, Project Managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide accurate and timely estimating information.
• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in estimating, quantity take-offs, quantity surveying, or commercial support within the construction sector.
• Familiarity with concrete formwork, structural concrete, reinforced concrete, or related structural construction projects.
• Capability to interpret General Arrangement (GA) drawings, structural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation and produce accurate take-offs, BOQs, and estimates.
• Practical understanding of formwork systems, concrete structures, construction methodologies, sequencing, and labor productivity factors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam or similar estimating/take-off software.
• Strong attention to detail and effective document control skills.
• Commercial awareness along with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in variations, contract administration, or project delivery is highly advantageous.
• Prior experience in Australian construction is preferred.
• Work from home.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST/AEDT (adjustments will be made for daylight saving time).
