This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.
• Assist the Director of Corporate Operations & Construction Compliance with vendor communications, contract oversight, bid follow-ups, and project estimations.
• Prepare precise estimates through thorough takeoffs for both commercial and residential projects.
• Assess labor, material, and time needs for various projects.
• Examine proposal specifications, change orders, drawings, and contracts.
• Create forecasts and present reports to senior management.
• Maintain logs for contract tracking and prepare necessary contract documents and templates.
• Input data and vendor details into SmartBid and Project Center.
• Coordinate blueprint requests and manage purchasing and contract administration special projects.
• Process and review Design Consultant plans while keeping logs for design changes and revisions.
• Oversee construction turnover forms, project requests in Wrike, and user access within Sage.
• Assist with permitting matters, which include building permits, USPS approvals, FAA approvals, address designations, trailer permits, and local Building Department filings.
• Formulate budgets for consultants, permits, impact fees, and project budget uploads.
• Manage bidding for design consultants, scopes of work, schedules of values, contracts, and change orders.
• Create Notices of Commencement and facilitate utility connections.
• Develop matrices for residential units.
• Upload, organize, maintain, revise, label, distribute, audit, archive, and control access to construction documents using AutoDesk and shared drives.
• Generate document templates and convert project team information into accessible documents.
• Collaborate with project team members to ensure document compliance and quality assurance.
• Train document specialists and employees on document management systems.
• Report to the Director of Corporate Operations & Construction Compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction sector and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, such as project plans, specifications, addenda, reports, and contracts.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Capability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Capacity to present information and address inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts including probability, statistical inference, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Skill in solving practical problems and interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule instructions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Experience with Sage PCP, Sage 300, Timberscan, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, PlanSwift, Wrike, Earthwork, B2W Estimate, Adobe, and Autodesk Build.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to meet the listed physical demands, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
