Estimator – AU Residential

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately perform quantity take-offs from architectural designs, specifications, and construction documents.

• Create comprehensive estimates covering labor, materials, subcontractors, and overall construction costs.

• Examine plans and documentation to detect scope gaps, inconsistencies, and potential cost risks.

• Oversee supplier and subcontractor quotes, including requests, reviews, follow-ups, and price clarifications.

• Keep precise estimating data, rates, quotes, and project records utilizing Databuild.

• Prepare and manage purchase orders, variations, and revisions of estimates in accordance with approved project specifications.

• Work collaboratively with drafting, development, construction, and internal teams to ensure estimates are accurate, timely, and well-documented.

⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience as a Residential Construction Estimator, especially in medium-density or volume-building projects.

• Practical experience with quantity take-offs, estimating, supplier quotes, and purchase orders.

• Strong working knowledge of Databuild is highly desirable.

• Comprehensive understanding of residential construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, and sequencing.

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat/PDF tools, Microsoft Office, and Outlook, accompanied by strong numerical accuracy.

• Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the capability to work independently and meet deadlines.
