Residential Remodeling Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Generate quantity takeoffs and comprehensive cost estimates based on architectural plans and specifications.

• Aid in budgeting and preconstruction planning processes.

• Manage subcontractor bid requests and pricing coordination.

• Examine drawings, finish schedules, and project documentation thoroughly.

• Revise estimates and oversee any changes or change orders.

• Keep estimating data updated within JobTread or comparable construction management software.

• Support scope development and project cost analysis.

• Collaborate remotely with project managers and leadership based in the U.S.

• Create precise and well-structured estimates.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the team.

• Deliver outputs with minimal errors or gaps in scope.

• Continuously enhance estimating processes and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, or preconstruction activities.

• Preferred background in residential remodeling or custom home construction.

• Familiarity with JobTread, Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar construction software is desirable.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and possess strong organizational abilities.

• Capability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High attention to detail and strong commitment to follow-through.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office setup.

• Availability to overlap multiple hours with U.S. business hours.

• Preferred experience in luxury residential or high-end remodeling projects.

• Experience in managing change orders is a plus.

• Background in material procurement or purchasing support is preferred.

• Previous project coordination or Assistant Project Manager experience is advantageous.

• Prior experience working remotely for a U.S.-based construction company is preferred.
