This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Deliver consistent and competitive pricing for all projects.

• Analyze architectural plans and specifications.

• Prepare and submit tenders and cost estimates within the designated project timelines.

• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Monitor and communicate the progress of budgets and tenders to relevant stakeholders.

• Collaborate with external trades for pricing and clarification purposes.

• Identify and suggest cost-saving measures in conjunction with project teams.

• Communicate project estimates along with labor and material costs.

• Document lessons learned and potential strategies for cost savings.

• Keep well-organized records of completed projects and cost analyses.

• Utilize company estimating software, such as Buildsoft and Cubit.

• Prepare necessary reports as required.

• Uphold a safety-first approach and foster a safe work environment.

• Adhere to laws, regulations, governance, and organizational policies.

• Ensure duty of care for employees and take accountability for actions.

• Achieve 100% compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in construction estimating or a related field.

• Significant estimating experience in Commercial Fit-Out or Shopfitting is preferred.

• General understanding of trade rates and construction costs.

• Proficient in interpreting architectural plans and specifications.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using spreadsheet formulas.

• Quick to learn new business and estimating software programs.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Effective negotiation skills for pricing and terms with contractors and suppliers.

• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on results.

• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and pressure.
