This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Conduct precise take-offs utilizing Excel.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive steel estimates encompassing weight, materials, painting, and welding quantities.
• Use Excel templates and related playbooks to develop cost models and project budgets.
• Interpret 3D drawings and technical plans for structural and architectural steel estimations.
• Enhance and refine estimation processes and systems.
• Collaborate using Adobe, CRM, and Microsoft SharePoint tools for effective version control management.
• Track industry trends, material costs, and project specifications to ensure competitive pricing.
• Participate in internal calls to synchronize project priorities and deadlines.
• Partner with internal teams, suppliers, and clients on estimations.
• Assist in scaling quoting capacity and achieving business growth objectives.
• Execute other duties pertinent to the position as they arise.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel estimation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficient in performing take-offs using Excel.
• Strong grasp of structural and architectural steel components and projects is crucial.
• Ability to interpret 3D drawings and technical documentation is vital.
• Expertise in Excel for data analysis and cost modeling is necessary.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a sharp attention to detail, are essential.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
• Familiarity with CRM tools for data tracking is a plus.
• Option to work from home.
• Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm NZST/NZDT (adjustments will be made for daylight saving time).
