ERP Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assess user requirements, workflows, and challenges to enhance current computer systems.

• Collaborate with staff across different organizational units to pinpoint issues and collect input and output criteria.

• Compose comprehensive descriptions of user needs, program functionalities, and the necessary steps to develop or alter systems.

• Evaluate computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to assess the feasibility of proposed modifications.

• Conduct studies and perform cost/benefit analyses of alternative solutions.

• Collect requirements and carry out fit-gap analysis for PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.

• Map data to legacy systems and third-party interface systems.

• Engage in hands-on, end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces.

• Assist in training initiatives related to the project.

• Create project documentation and undertake other project-related tasks as necessary.

• Provide support to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of experience as a business analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.

• 8 years of experience as a business analyst in the implementation of Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.

• 8 years of experience in gathering requirements and performing fit/gap analysis with subject matter experts.

• 8 years of hands-on experience with end-to-end system integration testing involving third-party interfaces.

• 4 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

• 2 years of experience collaborating with MS Teams in a large team environment.

• 4 years of experience with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government) is preferred.

• 2 years of experience with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system is preferred.

• 2 years of experience with the PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) is preferred.

• 2 years of experience with SharePoint is preferred.

• 1 year of experience with Jira is preferred.

• 1 year of experience working within the Scrum framework is preferred.

• 1 year of experience with STAT is preferred.

• Candidates based in Texas and specifically in Austin are preferred.

• Must be available to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, if required.
