
Equine Veterinary Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive sales of products and equipment to both existing veterinarians and new clients within a designated sales territory.
• Strategically plan and execute sales calls, selecting products and programs that encourage customers to make purchases.
• Engage with targeted, current, and prospective clients to boost sales, enhance market share, and elevate income for AVS.
• Employ computer tools, including Outlook and the Arthrex Veterinary website, as sales aids.
• Comprehend the needs of veterinarians and clinics to select suitable products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with veterinarians and clinics.
• Analyze sales data to inform pre- and post-call strategies.
• Draft and uphold a written call cycle that reflects changes in the territory and communicate updates to Arthrex Management.
• Remain informed about Arthrex products and services.
• Exhibit proficiency in Arthrex sales programs, products, and techniques.
• Create customer account profiles within the territory.
• Respond effectively to inquiries from customers and team members.
• Present and/or demonstrate new products and techniques to clients.
• Submit reports promptly.
• Achieve sales targets and budget objectives.
• Serve as a resource for customers regarding Arthrex products.
• Keep sufficient support materials and detailed aids in the vehicle.
• Participate in conference calls and meetings as needed.
• Oversee a Vet Systems Associate for the designated region.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience is necessary, ideally in the animal health sector.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with the company’s products, pricing strategies, and sales techniques is essential.
• Strong management skills with the capability to oversee the company’s sales operations.
• Proficient time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills are required.
• Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A professional appearance and demeanor are required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
• Proficiency in PC and various software languages as needed.
• Experience with Cognos and Salesforce.com is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time is required.
