
Equine Veterinary Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Drive sales of products and equipment to both existing veterinarians and new clients within a designated sales territory.
• Strategically plan and conduct sales calls, selecting products and programs that encourage customer purchases.
• Reach out to target, existing, and potential clients to boost sales, enhance market share, and increase revenue for AVS.
• Utilize computer systems as a sales tool, including Outlook and the Arthrex Veterinary website.
• Comprehend the needs of veterinarians and clinics, choosing products and services that fulfill those needs.
• Build and nurture relationships with veterinarians and clinics.
• Analyze and leverage sales data for effective pre- and post-call planning.
• Create and sustain a documented call cycle that reflects territory developments, sharing insights with Arthrex Management.
• Stay informed about Arthrex’s product offerings and services.
• Exhibit proficiency in Arthrex sales strategies, products, and methodologies.
• Develop customer account profiles within the assigned territory.
• Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and collaborate with team members.
• Present and/or demonstrate new products and techniques.
• Timely submission of reports.
• Achieve sales targets and budgetary goals.
• Serve as a resource for customers regarding Arthrex products.
• Keep promotional materials and sales aids organized in the vehicle.
• Engage in conference calls and meetings.
• Oversee a Vet Systems Associate for the designated region.
• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience required; equine health experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with the company’s products, pricing policies, and sales techniques.
• Strong management skills with the capability to oversee the company’s sales operations.
• Proficient in time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and presentation is essential.
• Strong knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Competence in PC usage and various required software applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Experience with Cognos and Salesforce.com is a plus.
