This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver technical leadership and engineering execution for high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) transmission projects executed under Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts.
• Oversee engineering activities from proposal development through detailed design, procurement, construction support, and project closeout, ensuring technical quality, constructability, schedule compliance, and commercial success.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables across civil, structural, electrical, environmental, surveying, permitting, procurement, and construction disciplines to create complex transmission infrastructure for major utility clients throughout North America.
• Conduct engineering analyses and design for HV/EHV overhead and underground transmission line projects, including voltage conversions, new capacity additions, and infrastructure replacements.
• Develop and review comprehensive transmission line designs, including PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE/TOWER models, structural analyses (LPILE/MFAD), foundation design, and material selection.
• Ensure compliance with NESC, NEC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC codes and standards throughout the design and review processes.
• Prepare plans, profiles, construction packages, bidding documents, specifications, and material procurement documents.
• Perform quality checks and peer reviews of design deliverables to guarantee accuracy, code compliance, and constructability.
• Lead engineering execution throughout the EPC project lifecycle, from proposal to commissioning.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline (Civil or Structural Preferred)
• 8+ years of relevant experience in the design of electric utility transmission systems, including 2+ years directly supporting EPC projects
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and TOWER
• Experience with LPILE or MFAD
• Solid understanding of NESC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC code requirements, construction specifications, and the material procurement process
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with clients and project teams; strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment
• Willingness to work in a client office and/or travel periodically as required
