This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Install, maintain, repair, and enhance equipment in the field.
• Provide training for customers and internal staff as necessary.
• Investigate technical problems, warranty issues, and field failures.
• Resolve challenges efficiently and cost-effectively while keeping Product Specialists and Service Management updated.
• Coordinate with local Service Centres and partners to efficiently schedule workloads, taking into account site location, priority, and cost factors.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to fulfill business objectives and meet customer expectations.
• Diagnose system issues and offer repair solutions, ensuring customers are informed of progress.
• Document system issues and preventive maintenance in customer site logs.
• Collect and record machine data to monitor performance.
• Complete machine installations, Engineering Change Notices, and system hardware/software upgrades.
• Suggest enhancements to service, reliability, and performance of equipment.
• Escalate challenging technical issues to technical support.
• Establish and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Oversee customer service within the assigned field territory and maintain the company's high-speed cash-handling equipment.
• Manage and track parts and tools while staying updated on changes to Glory Global Solutions equipment.
• Experience in a similar customer-facing role focused on achieving service levels.
• Must possess a recognized engineering qualification along with relevant post-qualification experience in a support capacity.
• Mechanically skilled to a high standard.
• Familiar with local Health and Safety regulations and able to operate within company guidelines.
• Effectively represents the company while addressing the needs of business partners; builds partner relationships based on trust and performance.
• Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to prioritize, plan, and monitor personal activities, performance, and progress.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Possesses logical troubleshooting skills with the capability to diagnose issues at the PCB or component level.
• Proficient in working with electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry.
• Availability for on-call duties (including some weekends) is required.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office, as well as proficiency in navigating network sites and email communication.
• Must hold a valid Driver's License.
