This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with physicians and other stakeholders within designated accounts and territories.
• Offer access support and educational resources while conveying essential promotional messages advocating for individuals affected by Hereditary Angioedema (HAE).
• Inform physicians, nurses, billing managers, and office personnel about Donidalorsen, HAE, approved indications, clinical data, and proper usage following FDA approval.
• Assist healthcare provider offices with access support in a compliant manner.
• Build, sustain, and utilize local healthcare system networks and relationships.
• Formulate and implement effective business plans to achieve customer and Ionis objectives.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional therapeutic field teams.
• Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on Donidalorsen brand messaging, efficacy, safety, and access procedures.
• Utilize tokenized patient hub data through CRM to provide updates on patient access status.
• Promote awareness of the HAE disease state and educate on patient requirements.
• Inform customers about Ionis patient service offerings.
• Engage in conferences, congresses, and scientific meetings.
• Collect account insights and relay feedback to field leadership and marketing teams.
• Analyze local market dynamics to identify potential HAE-treating healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for territory accounts.
• Create pre-launch engagement strategies and arrange post-launch customer meetings.
• Participate in field meetings and training sessions.
• Collaborate with Account Specialists and other field teams.
• Share insights on customer engagement with field members and leadership.
• Utilize platforms and technology for multi-channel customer engagement.
• Partner on accounts involving patients seen across various specialties and regions.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Master's and/or advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, PhD, PharmD) with at least 8 years of related experience.
• A minimum of 4+ years in pharmaceutical sales or field reimbursement and/or access roles.
• Experience with rare diseases and product launches.
• Engagement experience with healthcare professionals and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
• Coordination with cross-functional field teams.
• Proven experience in successful product launches.
• Knowledge in customer reimbursement and drug access education and support.
• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including market access and payer reimbursement policies for rare disease products.
• Analytical skills to develop product knowledge proficiency in pharmaceuticals, competitor products, and relevant disease states.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Documented success in consistently and compliantly achieving or surpassing financial and/or other quantitative and qualitative goals.
• Strong grasp of and compliance with external laws, codes, and company policies relevant to the healthcare industry and appropriate interactions with healthcare professionals.
