Enterprise System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive NextGen Enterprise implementations for new Physician RCM clients, spanning from discovery to go-live and post-live stabilization.

• Conduct assessments of workflows and convert client-specific needs into system configuration strategies.

• Collaborate with internal teams, client stakeholders, and NextGen support resources to achieve implementation milestones.

• Configure practices, enterprises, locations, providers, facilities, payers, insurance, users, security, roles, work queues, and operational workflows.

• Set up workflows for claims, charges, payments, adjustments, ERA/835, claim/837, statements, patient billing, rules, edits, and claim scrubbing.

• Oversee test and production environments.

• Identify and address configuration gaps that impact billing efficiency, coding accuracy, or collections performance.

• Design and deliver customized end-user training programs.

• Act as a NextGen subject matter expert during and after the implementation phase.

• Provide Tier 2/3 application support, troubleshoot system issues, and suggest solutions.

• Maintain documentation for implementation, configuration guides, data mapping specifications, and go-live checklists.

• Contribute to the development of internal NextGen implementation best practices.

• Work alongside RCM leadership on system enhancements aimed at improving revenue cycle outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with NextGen Enterprise, covering implementation, configuration, and support.

• In-depth knowledge of NextGen modules: Practice Management, EHR, billing/claims, scheduling, and reporting.

• Strong understanding of physician RCM workflows, including charge capture, claims submission, ERA/EOB processing, and denial management.

• Experience in data mapping, batch processing, EDI setup, and clearinghouse integrations within NextGen.

• Proven capability to manage multiple client implementations concurrently in a remote setting.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with the professional claims lifecycle.

• Knowledge of 837/835 transactions.

• Understanding of eligibility processes 270/271.

• Awareness of claim status 276/277.

• Knowledge regarding denials and rejection workflows.

• Insight into primary/secondary/COB processing.

• Understanding of payer configuration and routing.

• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid/commercial payer concepts.

• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, modifiers, and POS.

• Understanding of ERA/EOB/payment posting principles.
